What types of photography services do you offer?
I currently offer family, couples, and maternity photography. Whether it’s capturing the chaos of family life, the connection between you and your partner, or the beauty of growing your family, I’ve got you covered. Where will the photo session take place? Are travel expenses included in your packages or an additional cost?
Sessions typically take place in the Huon Valley or Kingborough area, where we’re spoiled for choice with stunning backdrops—from rolling hills and lush forests to serene beaches. If you have a special location in mind, I’m more than happy to explore it with you. Travel within these areas is included in your session fee. For locations beyond this region, we can chat about any additional travel expenses.
If you're opting for an in-home session, we’ll focus on the spaces you love the most, where you feel most comfortable as a family. Don’t stress about tidying up—be as you are, your truest self. That empty coffee mug on the table, Bonnie’s raincoat on the floor, the dog hair on the couch—leave it all. These little details are part of your story.
What should we wear for our photo session?
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and reflects who you are as a family. Don’t force Archie to wear that beige shirt if he’s not into it. Go for clothes you’d usually be caught in on a Sunday arvo—speak true to your family’s vibe. If you’re unsure or would like a more coordinated look, styling advice is part of your client experience, so feel free to reach out for help.
When will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive your beautifully edited photos within 2 to 4 weeks after the session. I prioritise quality and attention to detail when editing to deliver ensure your gallery reflects your story and experience.
Can we bring props or pets to the session?
Absolutely! Props and pets can add a unique touch to your photos. Whether it’s a furry friend or a sentimental item, let me know ahead of time so we can plan the session accordingly.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our outdoor session?
Here in Tassie, I know we can experience four seasons in an hour. It's blowing a gale and raining sheet ice one minute and sunny the next! If you've booked an outdoor shoot and the weather is too poor to work in, we’ll reschedule for a date that works for both of us. That said, embracing a little wind or a light drizzle can often lead to incredible, atmospheric photos. If you prefer, we can also switch to a cozy in-home session.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, and I totally get it. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Your session fee can be applied to a future date.
Can extended family join the session?
Yes, I’d love to include grandparents, cousins, or other loved ones! Additional family members can be added for a small fee, depending on the size of the group. Let’s chat to plan the perfect session.
Can I purchase more images after the session?
Of course! If you fall in love with more images than your package includes, you’ll have the option to purchase additional photos from your gallery.
Do you offer prints or albums?
I will be soon! I'm currently on the hunt for the best printing company to deliver high quality fine prints and albums so you can turn your digital memories into tangible keepsakes! Watch this space!
